Vegan Pizza Recipe

Gluten free, Vegan Pizza Crust Recipe

You can use any kind of toppings you wish, get creative and make it tastey! You can use organic tomato sauce or pesto as your sauce. I like to add hot peppers, green peppers, red peppers, mushrooms, tomato slices, and minced garlic. You can also add cashew cheese or try the new vegan cheeses that are just like real cheese such as “Teese Vegan Cheese’ & “Daiya Cheese”

Ingredients for your Gluten free, Wheat Free Vegan Pizza Crust

85 grams of rice flour

85 grams of tapioca flour

7 g of dried yeast (gluten free version- nutritional yeast)

2 tsp of xanthan gum

1tsp unflavoured vegan gelatin (agar agar)

1/2 tsp sea salt

Dash of dried oregano or thyme

Step 1.Combine above ingredients into a bowl & mix.

 

1 tsp Virgin Olive Oil

1 tsp vinegar

140 ml of warm water

Step 2. Combine above ingredients (below step 1) into a bowl & mix.
Step 3: Preheat oven: 200°C, 400°F.

Step 4.Mix yet & dry ingredients; I like to use my ninja food processor blender that has a paddle that makes dough, mix for about 3 minutes.

Step 5. Place dough in non stick pan. Place flour all over pan to prevent sticking.

Step 6: Build and edge for the crust so all your goodies do not leak off.

Step 5. Bake crust for 10 minutes and then add your toppings and bake for an additional 25 minutes.
